I am the Lead Machine Learning Engineer and Machine Learning team lead at the Wellcome Trust. Where I lead the development of models and metrics to support Wellcome's mission to fund new discoveries in life, health, and wellbeing.

I have a background of building impactful machine learning and data solutions in the oil and gas industry. Primarily focused on developing deep learning, natural language processing systems to enable data informed decision making.

I hold an MSc in Data Science with distinction from Birkbeck, University of London. I also hold a BSc in Geology & Petroleum geology from the University of Aberdeen, having originally started my career managing geoscientific software at E.ON E&P.
 

Outside of work I do pro bono volunteering with Data Kind UK to enable third sector organisations make the most of their data.​​​
